Another use for Virtual Worlds!
OK, so I'd seen the link ... with comments that it was "hilarious" ... for a video from Chinese TV about the recent Tiger Woods situation. Now, I don't really "follow" that sort of media (celebrity stories), so hadn't paid much attention, but something got me to click on this today ...
... and I was highly amused that the Chinese were using a Virtual World (I'm pretty sure that's not Second Life, but I suppose it could be HiPiHi) to "reenact" the accident. Needless to say, this is certainly a useful application for VW technology, given that it has a high degree of realism, and you can blow up stuff for no cost! Anyway, figured I'd pass it along.
