Oh, LOOK! Your favorite things ... more catch-up on The Job Stalker postings!
Seriously, though ... I try to filter out egregious whining about my job situation in here (I realize that might be hard to believe, given the not-infrequent freak-outs I've penned), but it does find its way in over there, sort of by default. Even there, I try to keep the emo shoe-gazing to a minimum, but things have sucked so bad for so long that I've got a bit of a hair-trigger going for that bathetic zone.
These four posts pick up from where we left off (I suppose the last time I did a NaBloPoMo must have been November?) in mid-November. As I've probably mentioned (or, if on the off chance you actually read my scribblings over there, you'd know), I've found a "co-blogger" for The Job Stalker, which has taken some of the pressure off of me to find something to write about 3 times a week, and have "let myself go" a bit on forcing myself to write as regularly for that as I had been doing. Since you probably care even less about the job-search in general than you do about my angst over it, I've not bothered setting up thumbnail links to his posts ... since this is all about me, you know.
So, as you can see, there are four posts up there from last November, two "link dump" posts (one with much "wailing and gnashing of teeth" in its intro, another featuring a link to a free e-book), a book review feature, and a guest post (with my lead-in). If you want to keep up with where Brendan's head was back then (heck, you could "compare and contrast" with my posts in here from the same time!), that's a good window into things.
The good news is that I'm only "backed up" five months, and that (thanks to having Gordon writing a chunk of the posts) there are only 4-5 each month, so you aren't going to be getting a "fire hose" of these like you've experienced in other NaBloPoMo months. The bad news is that there will be another four posts like this in April. You can survive that, right?
Now, all you have to do is make clicky-clicky on the nice pictures up there. Won't that be fun? You know you want to.
