Trying something out here ...

So, last night I was down at 1871 at the Merchandise Mart, for the last of four classes I was taking on HTML5 and CSS3 (cool beans!). On my way out, I shot one of those little Vine videos from Twitter. Because these are flash they've been difficult to share (aside from just posting a link to the tweet), but I ran across a thing about how to embed them, so I figured I'd give that a shot here.

Now, this sort of stuff doesn't play nice with the "preview entry" box on LJ, so I'm probably going to be having to save and edit and save and edit, but hopefully I'll get it to a point where it's working OK (then I'll need to figure out a way to get Pinterest to pick the dang things up too).

{edit} Well, I tired various things to get just the video to show up and got nothing, so I guess that's as close as I'm going to get at this time. Still, I guess it's better than the work-around for Pinterest (which involves doing a screen shot of the video, uploading that as the graphic, and then putting in the URL for the Vine).
