BEARS | 27 |
GIANTS | 21 |
Considering The Bears were at home, against a win-less opponent which had serious problems on both sides of the ball, and just barely managed to squeak out a win (via tipped ball leading to an interception on the Giant's last late 4th quarter drive), it's not a big confidence builder.
Part of the problem is how many bodies are already out for the season on the defense ... it's getting very sparse on that side, which is too bad, because if we still had a crushing defense to go with the new, actually productive, offense this could have been a very good year indeed. Just have to hope that the rookies and replacement parts work well enough to get us to the playoffs!
