Ah, they had Paul McGann out leaking to the press that he was somewhat miffed about NOT getting invited to be part of the 50th anniversary, and while it's evidently (on one might guess) true in literal terms, here he is, reprising the 8th Doctor on film for the first time since the one TV movie back in 1996! And, not only is he re-introducing us to that Doctor, here he is, on screen, regenerating into John Hurt's non-Doctor Doctor (which leads me to assume that somewhere along the line we're going to be treated to the Hurt-Eccleston regeneration, to firmly place the Hurt character within the official timeline!
