The Bears, hosting the defending Super Bowl champions, on a mid-November Sunday that started out feeling more like June, then having a storm front so violent come through that they had to evacuate the seating at Soldier Field, turning into a nice Fall day again, before the second part of the storm blew through ... at least the tornadoes missed the city!
Talk about a well handicapped game ... the general consensus was "pick 'em", with the Bears favored by just a home-field 3. It looked like it wasn't going to be a fun game in the 1st quarter, but when the game picked up after a 2-hour weather break, things picked up for the Bears ... although they still can't stop the run this year. For a while there I thought we were going to win this in regulation, but Baltimore managed to march down and get a field goal into the wind to send it into overtime. Fortunately, we held on, had one great pass play, and Trestman opted to send in Gould on 3rd down to (ever so barely) get the win ...

Needless to say, this was a very good day to be sitting inside!
