Well, I survived it. Getting up at about the time that I "normally" go to bed was interesting. I still have a hard time imagining doing that for the next 8 months. Bleh. So far everything is way elemental ... I guess they're starting from zip for those who don't sit at a computer all day. I'm drained. I wonder just how little sleep I can get by with and still be functional?
One of the cool things about the Chubb program is that you get a nice laptop ... it's an IBM Thinkpad with a PIII processor and lots of bells and whistles ... I haven't had a functioning laptop in AGES (my last one was a 386) so this will be fun. Plus, once you graduate you get to keep it (once they remove "their" programs from the HD) ... nice to have something that TANGIBLE for that big chunk of tuition!
