A half a dozen poems ... #1

Man ... so little time to work on this stuff these days ... usually I'm able to get the poems typed up over the weekend, but not this time ... anyway ... there are six new ones tonight ... the first of which is here ...

A half a dozen poems ... #2

I'm still working on the Case Study for school ... the instructor gave me till "mid week", which I assume means that I need to get it finished up tonight. I only got 3 hours of sleep last night, so I figure I should maybe catch a few winks and then get back to this tonight. Our final exam is on Friday, which will mean I'm half done with the program already! I don't know what brings on "bursts" of poems, but I have done six in a row. Maybe it's all the time coming and going on the bus.

A half a dozen poems ... #3

One thing was pretty depressing today ... we were taking a look at http://i.am/btripp ... my Big Poem Site ... and noticed how some browsers (NS6, for example) was really screwing up some of the graphics. We're also looking to re-do it in XHTML, which would mean TONS of re-write of the code. Bleh. Not happy. One fun thing from this weekend was a new domain I snapped up ... http://www.CoffeeKlatch.com ... it is the domain of all these examples in our HTML text and I was amazed that it hadn't been registered! So, I went and grabbed it and whupped up a site ... which we've been tweaking over the past couple of days ... I don't have the new XHTML version up yet (maybe tomorrow), but it's worth a look!

It's so cool to hear that ana is going to be coming down to Chicago for a photo shoot in the not-too-distant future ... I hope that we'll get a chance to hook up for coffee or something ... It's so weird to "know somebody" for years on-line but never having had a chance to actually meet!

A half a dozen poems ... #5

It has been a year now since the abrupt demise of the Sacred Sexuality Conference, and I was finally able to get into my business mail. On a lot of levels, I am a WRECK ... and dealing with Eschaton has, unfortunately, been one of them. Today I pulled all the shopping bags full of mail out of the closet and plowed through them. This was triggered, of course, by bad stuff (the bank calling about us being over-drawn again), but I was able to pull out all the checks from Amazon and Book Clearing House and a few others, which was a couple of thousand dollars ... which will get the bank off my ass for quite a while and might even allow us to get some things printed. The bags I had here only went up through March, so I guess I haven't been over to Mail Boxes, Etc. to pick up the mail in quite a while ... the weeks are running by like days for me anymore, and so I get behind on everything even if I'm not gong through major psychological episodes!

A half a dozen poems ... #6

Oh, look ... the last of these bunch of poems. Not that anybody gives a fuck, since nobody reads them, but at least now I can get back to work on this case study (and my course reading). I wish there were some break in this program ... but for the whole 8 months, we get four days off ... and this isn't one of those times.
