Not that anybody gives a dang ...

Just in case somebody was out there wondering "What did Brendan get for his $12.55 from JayAndMarie a couple of weeks back?" ... here's the listing, with my early take on the albums:

Le Duc - Célébration - Real good "world" music, I think the band's French.
The Wildhearts - The Wildhearts Must Be Destroyed - Liked it well enough to review it!
Various Artists - Notes From The Underground I - A bunch of bands I'd not heard of, but an enjoyable listen!
Stereocell - Into Tomorrow - A "heavy" post-grunge band that's not bad, even through repeated plays.
Cocodrillos - Mi Destino - Hey, I miss travelling in Mexico ... it's a typical band, I guess.
Maxeen - Maxeen - A listenable record with New Wave roots (a bit like early Police), it may grow on me.
Various - Abstract Sessions - A bunch of DJs doing the DJ thing ... I guess I just don't get it.
Common Tongue - Step Into My World - Not horrible but "tries too hard" ... and misses frequently.
Emok - SYHITGAFITTE* - Reminds me of a lot of other near-metal bands that don't do much for me.
*Shove Your Head into the Ground and Feed It to the Earth
Denis Taaffe - Modern Guitar Vol.4 - Haven't listened yet ... mainly bought it for The Wife.

I actually had another $12.00 splurge with the same vendor last weekend, so I'm going to have some more stuff coming in. I'm sure you're dying to find out what's in that 10 CD bunch!
