... even fathers cry

I've had Black Sabbath's Sabbath Bloody Sabbath in the CD player for the past couple of days ... and like eris, I've got lyric bits stuck in my head, but rather than stick all the lyics behind a cut tag, I thought I'd just share a bit ... here's the first stanza of Spiral Architect:

Sorcerers of madness
Selling me their time
Child of god sitting in the sun
Giving peace of mind
Fictional seduction
On a black snow sky
Sadness kills the superman
Even fathers cry

(sigh) ... Those first six Black Sabbath albums (of which Sabbath Bloody Sabbath was number five) where HUGE for me in my youth, coming out when I was 12 through 18. Black Sabbath, along with Blue Oyster Cult, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, and Jefferson Airplane/Starship were the soundtrack for my junior high through highschool years (as opposed to the explosion of Punk in my first year at college!), and there is always something comforting of re-immersing myself in them.
