I have had a nightmare of a couple of days ... I can't even begin to recount the insanity, chaos, humiliation, and depression that I've been through ... it has been relentless. Anyway ... I returned one rental car about 11am yesterday and picked up another (this time, inconveniently enough, out at O'Hare) which got me back downtown around 11pm. Once we get one small thing worked out with the !@#$%&^%#@&* dickwads at our bank this morning (I really just want to walk in there with a fucking shotgun and be done with it!) we're off for Columbus, OH for the 4th ... The Wife's got her umpteenth high school reunion this weekend, and was wanting to go home since there were so many of her old friends showing up. Whoop de doo ... nothing like 6-8 hours in a car with a 3 and 7 year old. See you all Sunday night if I survive that long.
