While the order has processed through Active-Domain.com, they say it can take up to 48 hours for the "whois" to reflect the registration (and so I can quit being paranoid about the URL showing up as "available" in the search things) and up to 72 hours for the DNS data to get settled so the domain will actually work. Needless to say, I want it working NOW ... I am being as impatient as my 3-year-old on this!
