Looking for MUSIC suggestions ...

OK ... here's where my reluctance to download music makes things difficult for me ... I never know what's out there that I might like. I got a $100 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble for Xmas, and I'd like to pick up some new music. Since I don't get out of the house much, and only listen to the radio an hour a week (on my Tuesday trips to the LifeWork meeting in the suburbs), I'm sort of living in a bubble. Aside from the occasional Projekt sampler, the only music I've bought in the past many months was that Boris Mikulic CD that I finally scored on eBay.

So ... I'm looking for SUGGESTIONS. I like dark music, but with lyrics you can understand (none of that "squeal like a piggy / growl from hell" crap like Cradle of Filth, Dark Funeral or Deicide ... that's almost more irritating than rap!). Examples of stuff that I like are: Type O Negative, Marilyn Manson, Electric Hellfire Club, and Rammstein ... and, on the more commercial side of things: Hole, Skinny Puppy, Godsmack, and Rob Zombie ... of course, I am a "fogey goff", so I have a soft spot for stuff that sounds like: Joy Division, Bauhaus, The Cure, The Smiths, Swans, etc., etc., etc.

I figure I'm going to be able to get six CDs ... and so far my "wish list" has two items filled in:
1: Marilyn Manson - The Golden Age Of Grotesque
2:Type O Negative - Life Is Killing Me
          3:
          4:
          5:
          6:

Help me fill in the rest of the blanks!
