Crossing my fingers ...

O.K. ... I just got an initial response from a Major Chicago Cultural Institution that is looking to fill a management Communications position ... the response didn't tell me much, but what it did NOT say was "oh, we've filled that job", and while "We will contact you if we plan to schedule an interview." is hardly warm and fuzzy, it at least holds out HOPE that there might, indeed, be an interview! Although this job pays much less than I was hoping to get (let's say it's less than half what I was making in P.R. ten years ago), it would be a very cool place to work! So, light up some candles for me or something!
