When, by chance, in the case of personal failure, results do not end up as disastrous as they might have otherwise been, this does NOT excuse your failure. The ONLY fact you should take away from these situations is that YOU FAILED. If you have not achieved your goals, succeeded in your INTENTS, reached the desired mark, no "accidental" success is worth shit. NEVER take solace in "just winning" if that victory is DESPITE your own failures.
