I just read something that made me go "Hmmmmm..." enough to post. Somebody was saying how their L.J. was an experimental alternative to their written journal. I have, at many times in my life, tried to keep a written journal, but never could keep it going for more than a week each time. Now, I've keep some amazing travel journals back when I was galavanting off in search of Mayan ruins in the Yucatan or hanging out with Shamans in Peru, but I've never been able to do an "open ended" written journal. Of course, I really don't use L.J. the way I was trying to use a written journal (keeping some sort of a record of my day-to-day existence), which might be one of the reasons that it keeps my attention. Oh, well. I'm sure this is one of those "stuff nobody else gives a shit about" posts!
