Small victories ...

Well ... I don't know what did it (I was removing a number of things that had ended up in the Windows "Start" menu), but I was able to run both a "thorough" ScanDisk yesterday and a DeFrag! As those paying way to much attention might recall, I had not been able to run either for quite a while, always getting some error or another ... something must have been writing to the HD as a background procedure, and now it's not ... I'm just not sure what that was.

Anyway, running the DeFrag has given me about 1/3 more available space on my HD, which is a good thing ... now if I could only figure out why I can't get the "details" view to work in Windows Explorer ...
