This could be partially due to us all butt-dragging today ... we got up way earlier than I, at least, am used to in order to take one of Daughter #1's friends to school this morning (his folks had early morning appointments). His dad dropped him off here at 6:55am and we dragged the lot of 'em out to the pancake house at 8 before running them over to school.
Daughter #2 was exhibiting a decent head cold, so we let her stay home today, and by the time we went to re-claim #1 we all looked like we'd been through a wringer (and so blew off Friday Dojo for the second week in a row).. Rather that fight, I just let everybody veg out. The Wife was off from about 3pm on appointments, and she dragged in at about 8pm. Both of The Girls passed out in the living room while watching TV tonight, so we know they were beat.
I'm still "having issues" with the new Battlestar Galactica ... while not "goofy" like the original, it has huge "plausibility holes" that are almost as bad (for instance, tonight, if the Cylon attack ship is internally biological, why does it have levers for various controls, except to allow the very unlikely scenario of making it just possible for a human to get inside it and somehow work out a way to pilot it? puh-leeze!). The acting and cinematography are super, though, which makes up for a lot of gaps in the F/X budget.
