"Belief-O-Matic"

Snagged from opalcat's journal ... this is a rather extensive quiz thing (that is on Beliefnet, so it probably has had more thought put into it than your typical teen-angst L.J. quizmeme!) which spits out how you match up with 27 different religious traditions. I'm going to put this behind a cut (as the results are long-ish), but I was was pretty much in agreement with how the results turned out, except that I was surprised to see me at 100% with Hinduism (given that the last quiz along these lines that I took had that under 50%!), but the top 7 are all quite plausible.

The quiz is here: "Belief-O-Matic" ... one caveat, though ... be VERY cognizant of the "weighting" questions ... in each section you get a chance to say if the question is of low/medium/high importance to you ... I suspect that this is the most significant part of this thing as far as getting accurate results!

Here are my results:

1. Hinduism (100%)
2. Unitarian Universalism (96%)
3. Neo-Pagan (95%)
4. New Thought (94%)
5. Scientology (92%)
6. Mahayana Buddhism (88%)
7. New Age (82%)
8. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (81%)
9. Liberal Quakers (80%)
10. Sikhism (77%)
11. Taoism (76%)
12. Reform Judaism (76%)
13. Bahá'í Faith (67%)
14. Jainism (59%)
15. Theravada Buddhism (58%)
16. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (58%)
17. Orthodox Judaism (54%)
18. Islam (50%)
19. Secular Humanism (43%)
20. Nontheist (34%)
21. Orthodox Quaker (26%)
22. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (21%)
23. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (20%)
24. Eastern Orthodox (17%)
25. Roman Catholic (17%)
26. Seventh Day Adventist (8%)
27. Jehovah's Witness (0%)

Aside from Hinduism coming in at 100%, the only things I have questions about are why "Secular Humanism" (at 43%) and "Nontheist" (at 34%) came in so low, and I would have guessed that Taoism would have scored a bit higher as well.
