Oh, I was entitling the previous post "ouch" due to the amount of stuff I'm going to have to slog through to get current, but it then brought up the fact that I am much worse for wear from the weekend. Now, I don't typically do water slides, since I am not fond of things that accellerate me and then whip me through various turns, but I was "shamed" into it by my 5-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, on my first trip down, I was lying down, and hit the bottom of the "catch pool" like a block of cheddar on a cheese grater ... my back is not a pretty sight. I was convinced to repeat the process, but stay sitting up, this time my feet pounded into the bottom of the catch pool, and I twisted both ankles, one quite painfully. Add to this re-injuring my "bad knee" on Friday night (slipping on some pool stairs), and I'm quite the wreck. My left knee is gimpy and painful, and my right ankle is hurting like hell, and, of course, my back is none-too-happy in its current "hamburger" state.
This is what I get for leaving the safety of my office and going out into the off-line world for a weekend! The Girls, though, had quite a good time. I'll do an update when I get the photos off the camera.
