No, no eBay griping right now (actually, I've scored some sweet wins over the past couple of days!), this is more general.
Today's gripe is the fucking ad pop-ups that get around anti-popup settings. I don't know if this is "universal", but over on AOL (yeah, yeah, I know, "AOL sucks, yadda yadda yadda") I have their pop-up blocker on for nearly all sites, but there are several (Drudge, for instance) whose ad server does a nasty little trick ... when their AOL browser pop-up is blocked it OPENS UP A M.S.I.E. WINDOW and then serves the damn ad to that. Personally, I wish I could remove MSIE from my computer, and I sure as hell don't want it running on my system, so it pisses me off every time these motherfuckers sneak around the pop-up blocker to not only foist their shitsucking ad on me anyway but use that viral welcome mat piece of crap MSIE to do it!
Does anybody know a way to disable their ability to launch MSIE without my consent?
I wonder if these shit bags know that every time one of their fucking pop-ups surfaces I'm having vivid fantasies of beating them to death with 2x4's, or using cinder blocks to smash their skulls in, or wire mills to crush their goddamn fingers? GRRRRRR ... kill, kill!
