How freaky ...

That's big storm ... typically Chicago sees some long-diminished after-effects of hurricanes days after they make landfall ... as you can see from the picture, Rita's here already (though she's just making it look dreary and overcast, no rain or notable winds so far).



It does look like it's getting a bit messy west of here where the edge of Rita is hitting the usual west-to-east weather flow ... hopefully it will hold off bringing in any bad weather in tonight, as we're going to be driving around in the suburbs.
