Your Linguistic Profile:

55% General American English

30% Yankee

10% Upper Midwestern

5% Dixie

0% Midwestern

Now, one would think that having lived the vast majority of my life in Chicago, that I would have more "Midwestern", and the only thing that I can think of that might be pushing up the "Yankee" usage was my early years in New York City (although I doubt "NewYorkese" is what they're thinking of for that, and, heck, I was a Mets fan). There were some "draws" in the quiz, where it was a total toss-up between two answers ... maybe I should go back and change my answers and see what it says!

{edit} Nah, changing the "coin flip" answers just dragged points out of "general" and into "Yankee", go figure.
