Whew ...

I'm exhausted. I spent pretty much all weekend dragging The Girls hither and thither (as detailed previously), ending up with a "will this never end?" birthday party for a gaggle of 5 and 6 year-olds this afternoon ... right when I would have MUCH preferred to be sitting my butt down in a comfy chair and watching The Football Game. Yes, somebody had the perverse sense of timing to schedule a birthday party right during the game ... the parents were European, so I guess I'll just leave that as their excuse.

I did note, however, that my BEARS did well, their #3-ranked defense getting the better of the Ravens' #2-ranked defense, and getting back to .500 (at 3-3), with a 10-6 win (covering the line and everything). I'm looking forward to watching the video tape.
