I'm wondering ...

Last weekend I posted about my signing up with LibraryThing.com and got very little feedback around here (just one note that there are similar programs for catloging one's CDs ... another project that I should do "sometime"). Is there ANY interest in peeking into folks' libraries?

I, obviously, am "into books" (duh, ran my own publishing company for a decade!), and so find this thing fascinating, but it's not everybody's cup of tea. Sure, I slap up little reviews in here when I knock down new books, but I'm pretty proud of my "reading history" and would love to be able to discuss this stuff with folks on L.J.

If I put up the URL to my "catalog" in my L.J. info page, will anybody ever go there? Admittedly, right now the pickings are pretty slim (I got up the books which I've read in the past couple of years), but I'm just now starting to "deal with" the bookshelves, which will crank the total up there pretty quickly. As I noted previously, the "graphic element" is not quite where I'd like it to be (largely due to the "vintage" of much of my reading being in the pre-WWW era when every bit of product got scanned for a web store), but I'm hoping they will eventually let us upload our own cover scans.

Anyway, just looking for some feedback on this here!
