While moving things around in my office, I discovered that I "lost" a book that I was about 2/3 of the way through ... unfortunately, it's one that I would really like to make a cogent review of when I finish it, so I'm thinking I'm going to have to start over on that. I also found (in the same stack of stuff) that I am about 1/3 of the way through the "even secreter" officially-unreleased 3rd volume (on "Occultism") of Blavatsky's The Secret Doctrine, but I'm not bringing a 600-page 8.5x11" monster travelling!
It does, however, look like I'm bringing my laptop with me ... if I can coax it (it still believes that it's part of the Chubb network and should have a T1 connector stuck up its butt) into talking to the Internet via dial-up on AOL, y'all might be hearing from me on our Disney adventure. The reason I'm bringing the laptop is that I got The Girls little bitty digital cameras for Xmas, and they hold about 30 shots (without the benefit of removable media), so we'll be having to download those at least once a day. Fortunately, I got those talking to the laptop just fine.
We're flying out of here at 6am, which means that we need to be out at O'Hare before 5am to be able to check our luggage, which means that we need to be rolling by about 4am from here, which means that we can't get up any later than 3am. I'm seriously jonesing for coffee already just thinking about it!
