Sorta fixed it ...

While the arguments continue on the LibraryThing Google Group (as to whether or not a user can "lock in" a particular view as the default view of their catalog), I did get a URL out of them which will point folks to my library more or less the way that I want folks to see it ... http://www.librarything.com/catalog.php?view=btripp&sort=tags&REV

I've put that in on my LibraryThing profile page, and am thinking that maybe I'll just use that to point folks over there.
