EXISTENCE TRACKS DESCENT
1
a million hooks,
a million lines,
all grasp and pull,
stretch apart,
distorting form
and one with pain
stressed beyond
the breaking zone
2
in these depths
the mass implodes
as pressure rules
the unseen day,
driving inwards
without remorse
the crushing dark
obliterates
3
no rest renews
no sleep restores
waking nightmares
follow into somnolence
churning up
the undistracted mind
to panic states
and frantic dreams
4
space is ache,
duration anguish,
all dimensions
of this world
exude decay,
every axis
of existence
tracks descent
5
too much beauty
and too much loss
to venture outside;
embracing death,
all we value
fades away,
all we cherish
changes and corrodes

Now, if I'm not mistaken, with this entry I'm all caught up with those various little notebooks. Obviously, I've not done audio for a zillion poems, but I have at least gotten everything that was scribbled and scrawled in various places typed up and in a file on the computer. I suppose that's something. So, all the stuff that's likely to be appearing here from now on will be new. I did write about 80% of one today, and need to get that finished up, so that might be showing up as soon as tomorrow. Lucky you, eh?
