Oh, ye of little faith ...

I couldn't believe how Chris Collinsworth (towards the end of the game when they started to chat with the studio once it was clear this was going to be a blowout) was in shock that the Bears were any good. Hello? They went 12-4 last year with no offence to speak of! Read much background material before going on-air? Admittedly, I don't think anybody was expecting the Bears to dominate this one like they did, especially against last year's NFC champ ... heck, even I was "psychologically prepared" for them to lose this one. However ...

After a performance like this, on national TV, in a much-ballyhooed battle of the last 2 undefeated NFC teams, I think there will be few folks out there who don't at least know the Bears are a team to keep an eye on.
