Some FireFox questions ...

OK, so I've been using Netscape since forever, and really like it's customizable features ... as amatter of fact, I have become quite addicted to NS8's ability to make things happen just the way you want them to. Unfortunately, for some reason, Netscape both has a bad habit of crashing on certain web pages with no warning, and has recently exhibited a tendency to inexplicably grab 100% of the CPU's attention (according to the Windows Task Manager) and locking up. I am, regrettably, now considering making the switch over to FireFox.

However, there are some things that I'm very used to doing in Netscape that I can't figure out how to coax FireFox into doing. Especially with the tabs. In NS you can tell it how you want to the tabs to open, in which order, and with what focus. I can't find anything equivalent in FireFox ... I've ported over the stuff I've kept in my "Personal Toobar" on Netscape to the "Bookmarks Toolbar" in FireFox, but I can't seem to get it set so that when I click on those they default to opening up in new tabs instead of using the currently open tab. Also, when I open a link in a new tab, I want the "focus" to move to the new tab, it's an easy option to set in Netscape, but, again, I can't find anything for that in FireFox (which drives me nuts since I don't think anything has happened since I should be seeing the new page but aren't).

Anybody have any suggestions?
