(sigh)

I seem to have broken ThunderBird ... all of a sudden it is not filtering out the spam, and I can't figure out what might be wrong. The only thing I can think of is that I wasn't supposed to empty out my "Junk" folder (would it still be referring to those to know what to filter?), as a week or so back I dumped it and the 30,000 or so things that had accumulated between it and the "Trash" folder. Over the past week ThunderBird has sent exactly 3 pieces of spam to the Junk folder, and that was one message that I got three times in a row.

I have poked around in the Junk Mail Controls and everything looks like it's set the way it ought to be to work, but nada. I just had to manually go through several dozen new spam, hitting the "junk" button, but it no longer seems to do any good. Anybody have any idea what I might have screwed up?
