One of the reasons I'm embarrassed to live in Illinois ...

Both "my" Congressman and one of "my" Senators (you know, that one who's leading the Presidential race) belonged to an openly Socialist "metaparty" dedicated to infiltrating anti-American candidates into all levels of government. This group, active in the mid-90's, was called the "New Party" and was a project of the Democratic Socialists of America.

Thank the Gods for the Archive.org site, as all mentions of Obama had been "scrubbed" from the group's current web site, but he was all over it as one of their big successes when he won (running unopposed) a vacant Illinois State Senate seat in 1996. This certainly helps clarify "how he got here" ... going from Marxist "community organizer" working closely with the likes of ACORN (one of the real roots of the current financial crisis), being picked by the "New Party political committee" to run for a vacant state senate seat (introduced via one of the New Party sponsored "house parties" hosted by Weatherman terrorist Bill Ayers), then slated for a U.S. Senate run when the "lock" Jack Ryan got torpedoed by illegally-obtained smear material spoon-fed to a leftist press.

The man is a Enemy of the U.S. All his friends and associates want to destroy what's left of this country. I don't like John McCain worth spit, but at least he's on our side!
