Obviously, not the one that I'm currently typing on, but my "main" computer at home is kaput.
It was working at 2am on Tuesday morning, but was non-responsive (it was making its usual noises but nothing was showing up on the monitor) at 7am.
The office sent me home with a flat-screen monitor, but it, too, was getting no signal. So, I packed up my machine and brought it and the monitor back up to the office (on the subway, no less) today, as the Tech Guy said he'd take a look at it. Unfortunately, taking a look at it eventually pointed to the fact that something on the motherboard was toasted.
I am not happy. We have one lesser-used system at home that I can probably snag, but I really want "MY" system back, and this is going to mean a whole lotta re-installing and crap, and I really don't have the time nor the energy for that at the moment. I wish I had money to buy a new system, but after digging into debt to go to Florence for work, that's not going to happen.
Sucks to be me, I guess.
