Bleh ...

Another New Years Eve "celebrated" being slumped over the keyboard ... I probably nodded off about 11pm, and woke up about 2:30am. Whoop-de-doo.

The Girls and I did go our for our "traditional" New Years junket ... albeit without their Mother (who was being pissy about going out in the cold, and was really angling for us all to blow it off) ... running up to Lincoln Park Zoo's ZooLights thing. This happens over several weeks in the winter, but on New Years' Eve they have activities for the kids ... although this year we got there after most of that had sort of petered out (The Girls got to do some "craft" activities, but they'd already shut down the gingerbread man decorating thing by the time we got there). We barely made it there (and were lucky that the light changed and held up the bus we were hoping to catch long enough for us to get across the street for it!) by about 7:30pm (it starts at 5pm) and they shut everything down by 9pm ... have to figure that data into the mix next year.
