I was considering simply cross-posting into here ... after all, MOST of my "job hunt" stuff will be appearing over there now ... but then it occurred to me that I'm trying to build traffic over there (I get a fraction of a penny for every unique page view), so instead of bringing the text over here, I figure I will beg, plead, and cajole you to head over there!

I had planned to set up a few "basics" with initial posts, but it had been well over a month with no posts (I post-dated my previous post to the date when it was written ... it's an edited version of a "test" post ... so that the stuff referenced in it made sense, calendar-wise, but that didn't actually go up until today), and the section manager was encouraging me to get things going over there, so I sort of dove in with a piece on networking.
